Edo Competition Presents Fastest Lamborghini Ever

Those wacky Germans that love to build super-super cars of off super cars, created what they think it’s the fastest Lamborghini ever. Based on a MurciĆ©lago LP 640, the Limited Edition edo Lamborghini LP 710 gets to a max speed of 224 mph (360 kph). With help from Christian Audigier the car got a air brush black matte paint job, some exquisite fabrics and materials and much of the interior. Only five of these will be built so better stay in line with some millions if you want to get your hands on it.

I was watching some recaps from the best of the WINTER X-GAMES, and i found myself in awe of Shaun Whites snowboarding skills…I know I’m not alone in this mind frame. That was neither here nor there when it came to a comment one of the sport announcers made about him owning a LAMBORGHINI !!!

I did a quick GOOGLE search and quickly found out he owns a 2007 “Balloon White” Murcielago LP640. I then went on a hunt to find images and found some of a photo shoot he did with acclaimed Celeb Photog Kevin Ou. Shaun White has such a cool and off the chart personality that it makes perfect sense for him owning one of the most OUTRAGEOUS cars out there!

Lamborghini Murcielago Streetversion by Reiter Engineering. This is the same company that introduced you to their unique engineered central mounted exhaust system on their beautiful Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT and their recent Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 Strada. This Murcielago Streetversion reminds me of the Lamborghini Diablo from the side profile shot!

What The Heck: Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

Okay, so now I get it!!! Lamborghini cars model number will continue to rise indefinitely to match the infinite increase in horsepower… so technically they could have 4 more Murcielagos just this year leading up to our post on the LP710 Audigier Edition. It’s all about horsepower right and weight savings right? An all-out horsepower war it seems.

Speculation over the internet waves is now surfacing yet another Lamborghini Murcielago dubbed the LP670-4 SV. I remember when Lamborghini had a Diablo SV and I could not stop drooling. Not many cars look this good standing still. As you guessed it, this one will have 670hp from the same V12 and AWD system, hence the LP670-4 SV name tag. Also, to make it special in “SV” form it has been shaved a whole 220 pounds and will be able to match a 3.2 second sprint to 60mph and top out at 213 mph. The matte black color scheme reminiscent of the Reventon will be covering the lower body while including an abundance of carbon fiber body parts for weight savings.

It is rumored that 350 units will be produced but others will argue and say it will be only 100. So I guess if you were not “lucky” enough to get a Reventon then you may settle for the LP670-4 SV.

Rumored Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 SV

The most interesting thing about Lambos is that they look so hot and they’re so fast. But what happens when you’re already top notch? Well it looks like Lamborghini has been secretly working on a Murcielago LP640-4 SVversion that should be lighter and more powerful, going from 0 to 60mph in an amazing 3.2 seconds. Though there aren’t any big styling changes, the new Murcielago SV should pack some new air vents, a larger bumper and a lavish interior built in Alcantra leather. Expected to be showcased in Geneva or in New York this year, the amazing supercar should cost some 25% more than the original LP640. We’re not worried though, the sheiks will definitely afford it. Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 & Murcielago LP 640 Ad Personam

Why let have all the aftermarket customizers have all the fun? We've seen plenty of matte finish cars: matte black on Ferraris, Porsches and Rolls-Royces; even a matte gold Nissan GT-R and a matte grey Lamborghini Gallardo. Now Lamborghini is doing the dull-finish cars on its own straight from the factory. Lamborghini unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show what it calls Ad Personam editions for the Gallardo LP 560-4 and the Murcielago LP 640. These editions are showcased in an very cool (...)
